Cost Plus Wellness contracts are NOT available to insurance carriers. Why? Insurance carriers routinely underpay, slow-pay, directly and indirectly clawback funds, use prior authorization to further delay payments, and introduce other extraneous costs that increase the cost of healthcare nationally.
Cost Plus Wellness contacts are exclusively for employers that recognize they are able to get better pricing because they pay as contracted, no exceptions.
